Independent Chathost Guide to  Payment Types

As a flexible e-commerce and communications platform, income-oriented indedepenent chathosts can avail themselves of virtually limitless strategies and systems for earning income and payments through the site (Of course, many chathosts also hang out on the site for free, so the following assumes you're here not just for the fun, friends, chat and community, but also to make a few dollars!). As shown below, there are currently at least six different techniques for earning money using the  platform, with payouts calculated three different ways:

#1: 100% PAYOUTS

100% payouts apply to most of the the site activities listed on this page, and all activities where you introduce the customer to the site platform, rather than the site. We imposes no processing or management fees. we absorb all credit-card processing costs and related fees. A 10% reserve is held for chargebacks and refunds, which is released to you in six months. Thus, your weekly payment for these types of activities includes 90% of the previous week's customer billings, plus 10% of transactions from six months ago, less any refunds or chargebacks arising from transactions initiated six months earlier. 100% payout activities include the following:


• Pay-per-minute fees in your own live, replay or prerecorded videochat, when you were the party that introduced the new customer to the site through an authorized affiliate program link placed on your members website, available through the free members hosting platform.
• Shopping Cart Sales of your Personal Merchandise
• Membership sales to the members-only area of your own members-hosted website

#2: 50% PAYOUTS

50% payouts are used for one activity on the  platform (see below), where  delivers the customer and surrounding videochat platform, you deliver the live videochat content, and proceeds are split 50/50.


• Pay-per-minute fees in live, replay or prerecorded videochat, derived from customers that others introduced to the site, not you. (Often, these customers are recruited directly by us through its extensive paid commercial advertising campaigns on major search engines such as Lycos, MSN, Altavista, and webmaster referral programs such as affiliate programs).We absorbs all credit-card processing and payment-processing costs and associated fees. A 5% reserve is held for chargebacks and refunds, which is released to you in six months. Thus, your weekly payment for videochat activity on the  platform is 50% of customer proceeds, (45% of current customer proceeds, plus 5% of transactions from six months ago, less any refunds or chargebacks arising from transactions initiated six months earlier).

#3: BOUNTIES

Bounty Fees are payments made to you for recruiting others to the  platform.


• Bounties: Through our affiliate program, both chathosts and non-chathosts can collect a "bounty fee" whenever they refer a new customer to the site, subject to the terms and conditions posted on the affiliate website. The fee typically ranges from between $30 and $70, and is sometimes higher.
• Bounties: Any chathost that recruits another chathost to the site earns 1% "overrides" on the referred chathost's pay-per-minute earnings, plus a $100 one-time bounty payment when the referred chathost accumulates at least 120 hours of time in live videochat.

 

"WHEN AM I PAID?" For all activities on site, including each of the three payment methods, payments are issued weekly for the immediately-preceding Sunday-Saturday weekly measurement period. Thus, there is no payment lag! When you receive payments in the same week from different sources (for example, pay-per-minute videochat and affiliate referrals), the payments may sometimes be combined into a single weekly payment envelope. Payments in excess of $1,000 are typically overnighted to you at our expense.
